OK, I get "memes", I get viral and all that. But why does Mankind seem to "need" a "meme to end all memes". We know the Mayans spread the brain virus that the world will end intermittently and that the 7th world end will come in December of 2012. In fact, some of the worlds greatest scientists say that the Earth will "pole cock" iitself n 2012, when North becomes South and South becomes North and all electrical generators stop working! The Club of Rome predicted back in l966 that a computer model showed life on earth would be unsustainable by 2012. They also predicted that all of our oil would be gone by 2013.
The ancient Greeks believed in the reoccurrence of "Golden Ages". But they also believed in a period of time "When the world will turn upside down". Justice will become injustice and justice will become injustice". The Bible tells of an end time when the "meek shall inherit the earth". (Thank GOd! I could use a share of inter-planetary owneship rights--I hope it comes quick, I owe Saudi/Citi Bank $11,000!)
So, why does mankind seem so desperate to create a "meme to end all memes"? The BIble refers to a "cleansing" of the unjust. And if there is ever a den of vipers that needs a high-colonic more than Washinton, DC...I've never read about it. Now that's something I'd pay money to see...a Bra-less Hillary, in a V-neck sweater, bent over in the high-colonic position!
Let's face it, every generation seems to get sick of the "Crap" they inherited from their parents and the "Crap" they create for themselves, the "Crap" their "peers" create for them and the "Crap" they create for others and the fact that all the psychic "Crap" lying today around is very likely to "Stink" even more, in the future.
Call me a "pest-amus" but I get "Crap"... So, in consideration of the fact that life has basically "sucked" ever since the ancient Greeks and since "Eve" got screwed by God for suggesting that her husband "grow some balls"...it will probably suck forever. Hence, a "meme to end all crap" really seems like more "dream" than "nightmare on Pennsylvania Avenue".
