Our first stop today was the Baladna Youth Centre in Haifa, where we learnt about the discrimination faced by Palestinians with Israeli citizenship living within the 1948 Israeli borders. Whilst these Palestinians have nominally the same rights as any Israeli, the reality is one of de facto segregation where they are treated as second class citizens.
