"Guidi" family of Florence,  sponsors of Dante was also primarily responsible for translating nearly all books of the Bible, Apocrypha and Revelations, and revised works of the West's major thinkers & writers for their own means.  Dante wrote "Purgatory" and "Paradise" in praise of the Guidis, but may have manipulated scriptures to create dynastic connex to Davidic bloodline, to control Papacy, justify creation of Templars, glorify their son Godfrey d Boullion, start 1st Crusade and establish fraudulent "claim" to Holy Land and City of Jeru
